The Anglican community that has been faithfully meeting at St. George’s, Newcastle has decided to enter Sabbath Rest.  This means that the Church is closed for services until further notice.  The Anglican Diocese of Toronto is committed to maintaining a presence in Newcastle and will use this “sabbatical period” to determine how to position the Church ministry to best meet the community needs of the future and an appropriate time for reopening.
